:Brief History: The Eugene Zendo, Butsugenji, began as a small sitting group in the 1980's associated with Dharma Rain Zen Center in Portland.  It moved to it's present location in 2002 and official opening (kaitanshiki) in 2004.

:Activities: We hold morning zazen, service, cleaning and breakfast Monday through Friday morning.  Tuesday evening meeting for service, zazen, class or dharma talk.  Sunday morning with service, zazen, dharma talk and twice monthly children's program.  Twice a year we hold 100 day non-residential practice periods (ango). We also have monthly Fusatsu and a regular schedule of Sangha gatherings  for temple maintenance or social time.
