YUME KANNON, Asia Fest

The Ofuna Kannon near Ofuna station on the JR Tokaido line will hold the "Yume-Kannon", Asia Festival.

Date&Time : Nov.24(Sat),2001 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission is 200Yen (includes contribution to the volunteer group)


The Festival will include Rituals for Peace in the Soto Zen and regional style as performed in Cambodia, Taiwan, India and Korea. They will be Cultural dancing and art such as Indian classical dancing, Bali dancing, Japanese old style music, Korean dancing and Chango etc.

Booths such as the Indian Tourist Government Office will have a craft curry shop, Vietnamese food stalls, Nepal's Bazaar selling coffee & tea and WE21 Japan shop will have a recycle booth to support the Asian Women Stand by Yourself.

Special guests will be Mr.Murakami and Mr. Takada from the Japanese Juzo Taiko.
